Greeted this morning at the dock by a stiff 22 knot north east wind and boats returning to the dock. Decided to postpone our departure to 9 am with the weather service calling for winds to moderate by late morning. The itinerary for the day was to head offshore but with conditions not improving much we decided to stay a little closer to home. . Trolled our way out to 20 miles or so with out a bite. Switched over to do some bassing , was slow at first but picked up at the end of the trip. Ended up with a respectable catch of around 50. Will take it. More unsettled weather coming tomorrow, wish us luck….
