Headed out this morning with high hopes of catching a big fat mako shark . Arrived out our spot and within 20 minutes we had caught our first one of the day. Tangled with two more over the next 40 minutes . Thought for sure it was going to be an action packed day with plenty of bites. Spent the following six hours staring at balloons that never disappeared even doubled up with a second chum bucket but no bites? Guess that’s just fishing, tried a little wreck fishing on the way home was pretty slow caught enough for a snack. All in all we got to see a few small makos and the ocean was surprisingly nice all day. Super nice group that was very patient. Reports of a few small tunas caught today so maybe something to look forward to in the near future. Looks like will be off for a few days and get back at it next week.
