It has been a slow start to our Tog Fishing season. Warmer then average temperatures, and the customers demand to want to catch these tricky Critters. Has had us jump the season a few weeks to early. Thankfully we have been mixing our catches up with some very nice SeaBass. Boat limits of nice Bass on both boats has been the norm.
If year round SeaBass fishing was still a thing, we could see a excellent rebuild of our Tog Population. With nice catches of Bass. Most of the groups have elected to release most of the Togs. Chan and Brian have had our 2 nicest fish of the year both over 13. As our water cools, the chew for the Tog should get better.
The weather has been pretty tuff on us this Fall. Lots of wind means lots of cancellations. Still planning on running some open boat SeaBass/Flounder Trips when the weather allows. We will post on the boats Facebook page, when we see a window we can make it happen.
We will not be running any of these open boat trips for Tog. Plenty of other Tasty fun fish to chase out there??. Thanks Guys!!
