Preparation is key to making it happen. Deployed a heavy two-anchor set on 9/23/20 to make sure the 85’ tug Hoss sinks where we want it.
Though I would usually deploy reef anchors from a drift; today, owing a sporty NW wind, set my port fishing anchor and had far more control swinging from inshore to off. Pretty sure that’s how all double anchor reef sets will be deployed from now on..
When will Hoss arrive? Great question.. Don’t know – soon though.
Ahhh.. Looks like Aerial Crane’s trailer will easily handle the steel sailboat. Couple more measurements to make certain. Hoping to bring it to Sunset or Fishing Center for some reefy modifications, then launch and tow it to its watery grave…
